Amerant Bank Arena Security Policies
The following guidelines and procedures are designed to help our guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to our arena. Your safety is always our first concern. We thank you for your cooperation.
To help ensure safety and smooth entry process, Amerant Bank Arena strongly discourages guests from bringing bags to events. If a bag is necessary, the following restrictions and procedures apply.
Prohibited Items:
- Bags larger than 4” x 6” x 1.5”.
- Coolers, hard-sided bags, and backpacks
- Cameras with detachable lenses
- GoPro’s, laptop computers, tablets, any audio/video recording devices other than cell phones.
- Selfie sticks
- Signs larger than 2’ x 2’, or any signs with posts, poles, or items that obstruct views
- Strollers, unless tickets are for Suites, Amerant Vault, or Corona Beach House.
- Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, pocketknives, mace, tasers, or anything that could be used as a weapon.
- Laser pointers or similar nuisance items.
- Explosive, combustible, or hazardous items
- Chains, spikes, or similar items
- Fireworks and laser pointers
- Drones or unmanned aerial devices
- Balls, frisbees, or other items that can be used as projectiles
- Airhorns, whistles, or any other artificial noisemaking devices
- Flammable items, including lighters, cigarettes, vapes, e-cigarettes, or other smoking devices
- Outside Alcohol, food, beverages, or non-prescription drugs
- Drugs, including medical marijuana, or illegal substances
- Brooms
- Flags, banners, or signs that obstruct views
- Animals, except Certified Service Animals
- Any other item deemed potentially dangerous or unsuitable by Arena security or the NHL.
- Any item deemed dangerous or distracting by the arena, team or production.
- Masks (masks are defined as forms of disguise or concealment worn over or in front of the face to hide the identity of the person)
**Law enforcement personnel or guests that are not present in an official capacity and working on behalf of Amerant Bank Arena, are prohibited from bringing weapons into the arena. Amerant Bank Arena does not provide lockers of any type. Weapons include, but are not limited to, the following: firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas and knives. Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the arena or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply will not be permitted entry into the arena.**
Permitted Items:
- Small bags, clutches, crossbodies and wristlets smaller than 4in x 6in x 1.5in
**Although encouraged, clear bags are not required**
**Fans are encouraged to adhere to the bag policy or refrain from bringing bags to allow for quick and easy entry**
- (1) unopened plastic bottle of water per guest.
- iPads
- Umbrellas (Subject to additional screening)
- Cowbells (subject to removal if disruptive)
- Binoculars, without case
- Exceptions will be made for diaper bags, breast pump bags, and bags needed for medical purposes.
- All guests entering with diaper bags, breast pump bags, and bags needed for medical purposes are subject to visual search and x-ray screening upon entry.
- All permitted bags are subject to visual and/or X-Ray screening upon entry.
- Storage of prohibited bags inside or near the Arena is not available.
- All guests shall go through security screening each time
- All guests are subject to walk-through metal detectors.
- Wrapped gifts must be pre-approved by the arena.
Guest Code of Conduct and Non-permitted Fan Actions:
- Guests who engage in disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language and obscene gestures are subject to ejection from the event.
- Guests shall refrain from using abusive language or gestures when interacting with staff and will abide by all applicable laws.
- Guests shall consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
- Guests shall sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
- Guests shall not engage in fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the playing or performing surface.
- Guests shall not smoke in the arena or ticketed outdoor spaces. Guests who do so will be immediately ejected from the arena.
- Guests shall comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.
- Guests shall not exit and re-enter the building after scanning tickets.
- Unauthorized filming.
- Opening umbrellas inside the arena.
**No RE-ENTRY**
These guidelines are subject to change at any time and guests who fail to comply may be subject to ejection, permanent trespass from the Amerant Bank Arena and any other property managed by the Florida Panthers organization, and potential arrest by local authorities.
